May 24, 2023 - That moment when you realize your hair identifies as a Black woman and everything in your life changes for the better. This moment hair dryer is pure genius.

This dude, John Papola, publishes articles & videos as part of a collaboration, which he may head, under a pretentious title of "Dad Saves America" which I came across and subscribed to, although there's a different author that I'm more impressed with. There's a conservative leaning for the content & ostensibly moderate although he goes into vaccine conspiracies & the like. All these wealthy white people don't want covid vaccines because the virus doesn't affect them that much. Any crisis will be disproportionably more detrimental for impoverished, and minorities are disproportionably represented in the impoverished stratum since they typically will reside in more dense populated urban areas, so the pandemic would affect them more. The overall attitude of these people in John Papola's little cult is that their the ones who are in the position to make the reasonable, rational decisions that the people in the lower caste just don't have the courage to. He has a bachelor's degree and discusses "socialism", & "Marxism" but to provide bias. I admit that I'm no expert on economics, but neither is he. I tried to read some of Karl Marx and it didn't take me long to understand that he was a humanitarian. Whatever people did under the guise of his suggested ideology isn't his fault & he probably ended up crazy since people hated him.
John Papola's all about sectarianism and yet there are child tax credits and child care tax rebates which are socialist programs. He's against transgender experimentation, which is good, but there's capitalism inherent in the agenda (as well as electroconvulsive treatments, but he doesn't care about that ... not sensational enough) and I noticed he alluded to that fact so he's all ok with contradiction. He's got this "deep-state woke" people to blame for inconsistancies with his platform. I can only assume that at least some of that idea of hidden "liberal" level of gov't is, in fact, the aspect of the sociology of past experts that shaped programs which provide benefits to people who've suffered some of the most atrocious kinds of trauma ... survivors of child abuse, rape, etc., and of course the stereotype of a person, tough and hardened, all for the better because of it since it'd be weak for the toxicity to have any lasting effect. That's embarrassing. The idea that any family abuse was strictly just parent(s) or consistant and predictable ... siblings would always know & understand it wasn't normal if asked about their childhood later in life, and a child or person was never abused because others abused them. ← Oh, now that last one was the real kicker, right? Like that'd ever happen. What's even more ironic is that there are people who were so abused that they're not able to interact much with anyone outside their families. Others "like" them, sure ... and there are programs and such for people in the demographic to attend for socializing, but the coffers funding the programs are being robbed.
Now that I mentioned all of that the typical canned, tough-guy retort is something along the lines of "omg, your talking about those mouth-breathers pervs! Oh you're sick!" and as been mentioned millions of times now, there were other cultures in the past which were convinced of such dehumanizing ideology to the point of exterminating anyone who wasn't a narcissist. Some of the people in my previous paragraph are unable to work, or some do to an extent. The issue here is that they're dependent on the same family who abused them (or were complicit with abuse) and expecting a person to survive as an adult without any income, whatsoever, to where they'd have to depend on others for toiletries even, is really not very reasonable. There of course gets to be temptation to scrutinize the whole eligibility determination system, like there must be something that they all never understood, the people that created the programs and all, many Republicans (who weren't nosey busybodies), and there lies your hokey "deep-state".
I've been informally, but specifically educated in the application of the U.S. Constitution Fourteenth Amendment of equal protection of law with regards to my demographic by people with masters degrees & doctorates with decades experience in human/social services fields. The real crux of it all is that there exists a demographic of people who others, by their hubris & arrogance, will insist that the law getting involved will only be to their detriment. "Let's not open that can of worms & lure the skeletons out of the closet!" The incidents that often get public attention is where a knife-wielding "mentally-ill" person is shot by police and nobody stops to think that maybe just don't do anything except wait for the person to tire out since the knife or other non-firearm weapon only has a small range to be effective. There's the expected expediency ... instant gratification to satisfy. (The mob rules.) ... ← Incidently, the police contacts that I'm referring to are typically domestic, outside a residence, and the perpetrators aren't usually very physically fit who often aren't using a knife that's very strong.
"Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother." Romans 14:13
There's the concept of collective punishment, which is really a type of public humiliation, and I'm not contesting the use of the tactic in controlled environments (e.g., athletics for team unification, or military training), but it can be natural occurence in group dynamics and is abusive in the latter type of cases. Of course with sociology, being a science of human condition, and humans aren't always predictable, there can always be anecdotes or examples given to contradict just about any case, but sometimes even then there's embellishment or lie. To be more specific someone can insist that some event or incident wasn't as harmful as described ... "everybody gets bullied", type thing. "Stand up to bullies" too, sure, but in that case the bullying may have gone unnoticed and only the "stand up to the bully" part was witnessed by an adult alliance of said bully and social science can be a bitch!
Taking the verse I supplied in consideration again, it could be pointed out that even back then, the idea of bullying wasn't new, trip someone up for shear fun of the reaction garnered and now it's recorded on video. St. Paul had a liberal education too, it'd stand to reason that he would've known a bit of philosophy & math so was a rational man. Some of us have determined that Mary Magdalene is author of Fourth Gospel, it's been debated but an expert, Prof. Paul D Anderson at George Fox U (Quaker college), is certain that it's a man but of course his job depends on that posit. My contention is that a man wouldn't risk bringing up suspicions of stealing from group funds and there was incident with the woman & perfume that was brought up only there. If it's taken into consideration that His cross was poles slashed together in a X, and he was tied to it too, then their reality is more within what could be accepted. It's what always has been issue ... oh and I just realized segue into evolution ideology ... unproven science. People bring up pulling wisdom teeth but not taken into account is the nutrition aspect ... but now I open up to hokey conspiracy "re-education". That along with thinking Elon Musk is a wonderful man when he's white, talks about being discriminated against, has a bunch of children and talks outright about world population ... oh, I know he wants to burn up his billions shooting off our planet's resources to Mars ... oh, listen to me I'm materialistic. There's nobody living in underwater cities so maybe there's a bit more reality to think about. I'll grant you that Trump hasn't mentioned that from what I know... doesn't sound like something he'd be about. Obama did though and he recently brought up needing to be prepared for friends with non-binary children ... you're a bigot unless you're cool with such insanity. Here I have a commemorative website for Miki Manigault but nobody cares.
Saddam had tons of chemical weapons and a couple years warning to dispose of them so thinking that is all bullshit is racist. I never would've thought the information could be completely dismissed when he was murdering thousands. Poor people don't count ... I shoulda known that much. In a video, John Papola immediately uses phrase "the forces of victimhood" when his whole entire posit is that he is a victim. Oh, if a person is a victim of a few assaults then odds are it's the victim's fault since that sorta thing wouldn't happen otherwise... I'm not sure where the delimiter is beween being a victim of brutal crime and being just the person's role in life. Gives people like John Papola something to discuss, instead of actually doing something about anything.
This is a sociology presentation (work in progress) about John Papola & his "Emergent Order", which I suppose is intended to be catchy & serious & inspiring, etc.
I'd like to reiterate though, that what caught my attention was this dude's take on Karl Marx... I've already determined that the disparagement that is leveled against him is propaganda. Again, in the below clip John Papola first talks about how he pulled some stunt that was "despicable", sacrilegious, but there's the real world (pragmatic or Society of Friends, a.k.a. Quaker) viewpoint and the reality is; was there any humans harmed? A satirizing stunt which does no real harm isn't evil. God had Abraham carry his son up to an alter to kill him and people be like "but he was stopped" like Isaac was too stupid to understand the reality and wasn't traumatized? Oh ... boohoo shut the fuck up, right? ... There's "white" (Caucasion) culture where being traumatized at young age, enduring abuse to whatever extent, is common. "Corporal punishment" (spanking) can be traumatizing since it's usually done out of anger. I remember my father chasing me with his belt on occasion and I mentioned that in my therapy. The man with a masters degree and decades experience in the field informed me that I was a victim of child abuse ... oh boohoo, right? Sociology here though is that violent crimes wouldn't need to be outlawed if they were beneficial for the victim. I was actually informed of the very same thing by a counselor when I was an adolescent. The last time I was at my father's house I received a courtesy ride by county sheriff deputy into nearest city; Longmont, CO - where I spent the night walking around waiting to take bus to Denver. Like I told him and his partner though (and others when I bring it up), I knew my father suffered a bit when he was young too. I wouldn't ever deny that. Years ago one of my own father's friends told me his take on the "spare the rod" verse (oddly enough since my father leans agnostic) and he pointed out that what it meant was being a guide because a shepard had both staff and a handling type rod to nudge sheep one way or another. Maybe it's more in lines with an idea that an alternative needs to be offered instead of something indulging.
Then Mr Papola goes on to list all the bad people who was all into Marx. That is what makes Karl Marx "a villian". Again though, I read about an entire paragraph of Marx's writing and when he went into the division of labor & people obliged to sell their labor (that included me as young man ... I wasn't coddled) ... but I understood what he knew about the world. Humans are fragile. There is and always has been racial injustice in the world. There might've been aspects of his specialty which he avoided, or some other cracked-pot theorizing to stigmatize him as such. I never read much about him either but a man informed me that he mostly lived on charity of others... which is phrased like he was freeloading ... must've been, right? The idea is that he must've avoided hard work like the plague but that may or may not be true. Most people would refuse to do the kind of work I did but here I am sixty years old and young people will throw things at me while I'm enjoying a nice walk in the sunshine. I did work that was dangerous and strenuous and a lot of times would have to endure being bullied (basically) all day ... oh haha what's the big deal? Well, working skilled labor where there always is risk of some permanent life-changing injury while gealing with some jerk, who is technically a superior and lost his house & wife over the weekend so is in a (not untypical for him) frame of mind to see if he can piss me off enough to hit him, can be difficult to say the least. Especially for me, a survivor of male sexual assault (more than once) and other brutal violence. People can assume that (just like anywhere) sadistic people will treat everyone the same way... like they're stupid. How could they continue to get away with treating people like shit if they were that way with everyone? Working in skilled labor trades are many lower socioeconomic caste white men who resent people of color and are racist so they would typically abuse me since I'm from anti-slavery family ... in my upbringing it was very much instilled on me to be considerate of people's ethnicity & nationality. In my therapy it once came up that the reason I quit one job when I was young was because the crew foreman wanted me to scapegaot an Indigenous man (my only friend there too) for ten grand of damage caused by a new guy... a young white man who was a friend of another one there. As I was leaving though, I told the foreman to watch what I do and I proceeded to go rat him out to the project supervisor ... I also name-dropped a local popular company and told him that I worked for the owner's brother before I went into military.
I wrote dismal poetry when I was young too, not unusual. I need to include the other crucial point is that my paternal grandmother made it clear to me when I was young that my political leanings would at some point radically differ from my father's but she figured that I'd understand when the time came. I understood there were Black people who read Karl Marx and didn't particularly have a problem with him ... the word he used was commonly used by most people, including Blacks. I've been called that word. The historical context is that in the region of the world Marx was in the attitude would've been different. I related a anecdote just earlier where I was expected to be part of racist conspiracy against an Indigenous man and if I had a wife and children with mortgage payment then people would have thought me crazy to quit. That sort of thing may not affect a person of means and opportunity as much as it'd affect a person in lower socioeconomic stratum in our era. There were plenty of occasions where people, friends and acquaintences, who'd go out of their way to try to trick me into "converting" to hateful bigotry so I'd lose all my family values and be worthless so to become a laughingstock and they'd feel better about who they are. All these people use the term "mentally ill" and yet never associate it with an innocence, victim/survivor of child abuse, really quite the opposite. The term, "mentally ill" is used in most disparaging way without ever considering what could be cause, other than what is accepted narrative which is that they're at fault for not getting into treatment and take medications that a person like Mr Papola would never take ... he'd say he don't need them, not prescribed by an expert physician, etc. but if the drugs are harmless with exception of messing around with a person's brain chemistry then why not try a few pills? For decades now there's been contrary evidence, published by prominant psychiatrists, about the field and its patients in more realistic way but due to capitalism it's all dismissed.
I found the letter that was alluded to, and it was offensive, sure ... comparing a hair cover to a Black woman's hair (afro) might be objectionable to people too. (Expecting it to not be at all to anyone is a bit much.) I'd never do that but figured that maybe if I did (as thought experiment) I decided that I'd at least use the word "lady" as opposed to generic "woman" so as to bring some dignity to the satire. It could very easily be argued that Marx was alluding to Ferdinand Lassalle's ancestry to determine his socioeconomic background. The current U.S. President will talk about Latinos like every last one of them is a gangster ... along with his cruel idea to force children be born without any home country, since the child's parents were shorter than average in physical height and effectively forced out of their home nation. People who don't understand how that sort of thing feels are the same ones who outcast the "weak".
There's one more point here along these lines and that is Mr Papola's statement that he "sent his son off to attend a college in Italy..." and when I first heard that I was like "ok, whatever", but then lo & behold I find a video and other remnants which reveals an intimate relationship the young man was in with a Latina woman. The video was dated from early this year and was a year anniversary. Now, I understand people are busy and even young people may not be all about keeping various social media profiles updated, but there wasn't much activity and I didn't see photographs of an Italian college. Maybe he just got there or also maybe the wording wasn't exactly descriptive of the circumstances... whatever. I will point this out (and this is where my hokey talent is ya dumb-assed cunt bitch, John Crapola) ... the wording of "I sent my son off to college ..." is belittling and demeaning ... that implies the young man is a child ... saying something more like "he agreed to" would be much more prudent and respectful ... the respect for the family's position. The main issue is that with a girlfriend, the young man shouldn't be referred to in any way besides equal to dad, if nothing more than to retain the young lady's respect for her man. Ideally the young couple transfered out there together but there is a socioeconomic point I understand and that is the young woman's family wouldn't be happy with the plan at all... if he was starting a job there then maybe, but she'd be in position to be financially dependent on the son while he's dependent on dad still. Within the continental U.S. too might be reasonable, but certainly nowhere like Italy where just being American isn't popular. Mr Papola also referenced "women" in his description of his son's destination so his son's commitment to the young lady has either ended or his father couldn't fucking care less. The son wouldn't be so quick to end a relationship with a lil hottie, even if it meant an offchance new Italian bride and premium education to begin his new ideal life. Of course is the other simple fact that his girlfriend was poorer Latina, and not a young lady closer to his own socioeconomic status... maybe too many tripping all over themselves for some of that action. Probably more along the lines with my experience (oh my first exy would be hurt by this but my grandmas respected her though) ... where I was really in different caste at that point in my life ... no shame there, mind you, her and I were respected people, for the most part. The point is here that I quit high school and got a GED while seventeen still so I could start working. My father wanted me to attend a college (of course) but in high school I was being treated like dirt and one of the last straws was when a girl I was dating commented on my facial deformity (bags under my eyes), a more rarity then and occasionally it'd be brought up implying that something was wrong with me for allowing myself to continue looking exactly as I do or did. My father kicked me out of the house because of that, before I was eighteen. He was oblivious to what I faced in my reality (too).
I also found a couple other descriptions of Karl Marx's attitude on race and he was decidedly anti-slavery. My own sister will use slurs on occasion, but of course never for Black people ... we both had same grandmother, after all. I have an Latino (and now U.S. citizen) friend who started posting on social media about his problem with immigrants and started driving me crazy. I try to point out to people that there could be descendants of the Mexicans who were forcibly expatriated among the undocumented immigrants so their "illegal" status couldn't be sustained since there'd be no real way to prove that wasn't true for them. There was also the freed slaves who escaped the South U.S. and settled in Mexico. There could be undocumented immigrants who are descendants from them, too. Any discussion on immigration should include those points since the topic is human beings but I'm sure not to find any mention of any of that among Mr Papola's endless rantings and tirades.
I found Zohran Kwame Mamdani on Instagram. Seems like nice enough young man. I watched John Papola's latest video (as now 31 Jul 2025) and when I heard Zohran discuss housing at one point I broke down and cried. The retort commentary of John Papola's is what struck me because he was just laughing about what was said when it was probably the most compassionate, rational, logical things I've ever heard anyone say. In contrast to what was said (which I've heard something very similar before... I can understand phrasing a conceptual posit in standard ways) ... but where the contention is that everyone has fundamental right to housing, which a normal person would be hard-pressed to argue with, but of course there are those who do... like John Papola, who immediately go into tirades about drug addicts (or whatever). I suppose better yet is the argument John Papola gave (better in sense that it is more indicative of the dystopian attitude of Mr Papola's), regarding free public transportation and tragedy of commons is that there's a concomitant goal of ending homelessness. There is crisis now with homelessness and so making judgement about future impediments based on what exists at this time isn't reasonable. Merely repudiating every idea with platitudes and sensational languange, labels, stigma, etc. isn't productive. By engaging and not being productive then that is distracting and an impediment. The "Tragedy of Commons" that I see now is the social media platforms are being inundated by endless drival of wannabe journalists and political analyzers who's main concern is their own access to their own uh... analyzer.
To summerize here for now, I'd like to point out that, with many of my presententions, I really only expect to publish the information I have for a short while ... a couple months at most. With a under twenty dollars cost it's a way to help me stay organized and motivated, optimistic, etc., and I figure that once people see what I have, and the way I present it, they'll notify me & I'll take it down ... or at least change the wording for it to be less direct. I can't say nobody cares because a couple weren't so dumb or calloused ← and that word pertinent unilaterally, since my subject matter is essentially human rights issues. I'm often at a loss as to why people can't stand me ... but, as an older therapist lady said to me "no love lost on a middle aged man" after I had complained to her about her "making me" write fifty positive affirmations a week. She went on to explain to me that she she had a few male friends her age & were good men but people were mean to them. People will project (transference) whatever problems they have with some man, or men in general, and expect an older man to answer for whatever atrocity that is opposite of how he is ... the reaction from such insult (fundamental attribution error) is interpreted as admission of guilt ... just for laughs. Whatever. It's only about discombobulating a person, and it's clear that John Papola is that kind of person. He merely ridicules from position of he Then there's the thing where a man isn't supposed to be intellegent enough to understand any of the charade and some women who do work where they interact with men will consider it their opportunity for educating a man about gender disparity (or in other words, they'll engage in civil disobedience) and a male co-worker (and others) will be expected to sympathize with the woman ... even knowing the truth; that it's not that "she's out to get him", it's that she doesn't have to worry about doing whatever task she'd do as part of her job if it were somebody else. If the man was an actual good person, and not a worthless bum, then he'd certainly not be in any position to need her to do anything that she didn't necessarily want to do, whether being paid or not... it's really up to her, after all ... that's how men are (who often are considering factors about some situation that a woman wouldn't because it's not her department), at any rate the man would be rich as hell if he were worth anything at all ... & a man better bet that women are smart enough (or at least some would be, it seems) to have self-awareness and then the woman would be pissed because they understand that's not logical (and they're then self-mansplaining) and so hit you.
Currently this site is quote-unquote geofenced, because of cheap tier, but I think I can host it cheaply and be accessible global. I can have a more static version international and a separate on to keep more current. This one I'm prepared to stay with it for the duration, is the point. Oh, but I've done figured out that the whole tricky thing to the question of whether everyone has a right to housing is the obvious debate about listing who wouldn't and who would ... let's talk about them... "why, are you like them?" After a few minutes, hours they won the argument. This dude, John Papola, provides his own counterpoints when he talks. I guess he don't realize that. Comparing getting a building permit in NYC with getting one in Austin, TX, insisting that it was some liberal conspiracy (effectively) because it took longer in New York, is hyperbole. I can close here with the point that people who get involved in real estate will be considering their long-term investment and want to make a positive cash flow profit now (there's probably some standard way to express that) and with leasing out residential housing those two points, investment and contemporary positive cash-flow profit, can cause conflict-of-interest for an owner. Government regulations can offset that, so the owners don't unwittingly become ruthless monsters, but then there's people in the would... the same kind of people who'd charge minors as adults for some alleged crime that was "really bad... didn't you hear?" (type thing), there's the people who just enjoy the hell out of other people's distress. There always were. How many times have there been people torn to bits by angry mobs? Now there's "perp walks" and I guess that's where the injustice system concedes, now that I think about it, I don't think they do that publicly with juveniles. I suppose that's subject to change now that it's been brought up. Must've been an oversight.
I also found a video made by Matteo's (ex)girlfriend and I gotta admit that I didn't understand the entire context, or maybe I did but avoided the poignancy. My main original objective was to confront his father ("cancel him", as it were) but of course no amount of messaging or any other kind of contact I attempt is ever acknowledged by anyone. Whatever. I realized that there's the other aspect where in the real world a person's "success" as a father would be open to interpretation and a difficult determination to make in some cases. There's no trouble in Mr Papola's circumstances though, because I can put it very simple terms by pointing out that the underlying idea of his is clearly that if his son receives a good college education then he'd make money to live comfortably with whoever he chose to marry & all that. The problem is though that his son was apparently forced to leave her behind on his way to the top. In more straightforward way I will state that the actions of Mr Papola was racist (against Latinex) when he (obviously ... let's not mince words) forced the young couple to end their intimate relationship. I glanced at the comments on photographs a bit more & there existed a reality that the two lovebirds have not yet fully realized, or the young man & others haven't. Women can be indirect with their communication, and I think the young lady wanted people to know that she's not dumb. There's other subtleties where there's a clip of the two in a bathroom, filmed by who? The clip of him in the car, his behavior as a nineteen year old man in a car with a young woman, was aberrant and indicated (to me) fear or anxiety, not simply excitement. It really seems to me as if the traveling wasn't what the young man wanted, nor she (obviously), but given the way he was behaving maybe it was for the best since eventually he might've got into a confrontation with a relative of hers. In my experience, Latinos can be less tolerant of embarassing (goofy) behavior than (American) Black people will be, for sake of contrast here.
How mean of John Papola, though! Now the videos of Mr Papola's with titles implying the "tough love" trope make more sense. It is obvious to me there's a charade in effect where Mr Crapola wants to put up a front of parental conscientiousness and educated wisdom on how to overcome the obstacles that those who are weak (or however he thinks of it along those lines) are unable to manage in that regard. He didn't want his son stuck in socioeconomic disparity, doing menial work, so he sent him off to prestigious college. If there were broken hearts & humiliation (broken hearts) suffered by anyone then such is life. What amazes me out of all of it is that I don't see any indication of Matteo showing any interest in anything of note that would help him feel individualized and autonomous.
There are a couple other men I've found online with same name, one even could be him but there's also a writer in Italy by same name. He's older though. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that there's no coincidence where John Papola's idea is to have convenient plausible mistaken identity for deflection & misdirection in event that his son doesn't produce the narrative he's looking for.
Images are photographs of Matteo Papola with another young man in what he noted as "Columbia". The photographs were posted in early July 2025 and have some typical comments. A couple stand out though since someone had mentioned "marriage" (with the young Latina lady in Texas) which isn't realistic given the context. Of course it'd be argued that it's me not understanding ... these people are way above and beyond any sort of common occurance like "I'll wait for you but I can't wait forever" but the lady, in her feminine wisdom, used a song for her anniversary video to him that was indicating "I know this is goodbye" ... and she cried. It's tragic! Nobody would've ever known!
Also of note, for any vision impaired, or at least to show I can catch on to subtle nuances (redundant phrase?), there's a photograph of Matteo a few feet apart from another young man and they're leaning on low stone wall overlooking a scenic valley. There reflects a metaphysical cabalist aspect where there's a woman's hands with a gold ring who's holding a phone and taking a photograph of the two men. The photograph posted was of the woman photographing the men, from over her shoulder viewpoint (is the thing).

Oh, "Only the gov't can violate people's rights..." argument? See page 8 of this aticle on Stanford Law website:
"We want and are entitled to the basic rights and opportunities of American citizens: The right to earn a living at work for which we are fitted by training and ability; equal opportunities in education, health, recreation, and similar public services; the right to vote; equality before the law; some of the same courtesy and good manners that we ourselves bring to all human relations."
~ (Dr.) Martin Luther King, Jr. from August 6, 1946 letter to editor of Atlanta newspaper.
The biggest danger to our rights today is not from government acting against the will of the majority
but from government which has become the mere instrument of this majority...
Wrong will be done as much by an all-powerful people as by an all-powerful prince.

Class conflict is another concept which upsets the oppressors, since they do not wish to consider themselves an oppressive class. Unable to deny, try as they may, the existence of social classes, they preach the need for understanding and harmony between those who buy and those who are obliged to sell their labor. However, the unconcealable antagonism which exists between the two classes makes this "harmony" impossible. ~ Paulo Freire

The below images establish my cultural ethnicity as Society of Friends, a.k.a. Quaker, but a non-conforming branch in regards to always adhering to pacifism, and more specifically, that opposition to violence is reasonable, but not always practical. The point is that I was a person that any particular group of people could figure out how I was to be "othered", or just didn't adhere to my posit exactly right, i.e., ad hominem, or kafkatrap (type thing). There does exist a socioeconomic caste of people where their posit is to go ahead and be all about hedonistic conformity, and when they're white people they will even feign non-racist if they need to, but with hubris... and then they'll be liberal, and can blame gov't, military, the man, etc., but while avoiding the stigma of racism themselves, they'll inevitably reinforce disparity. In any event, if there is ever an issue with my work here, then the first things I'd bring up in my defense is the below documents.
Benjamin Franklin McCurdy, was my great grandfather, and his draftcard is included. I understood that my family had a position overall, of being defensive of equality, as I'll put it here. I was taught from young age that we had special consideration for American Blacks, and I learned their history which included the ships, which could take close to two months to cross the ocean. I also knew at young age about the mistreatment of Blacks even after slaves were freed and I was further instructed that the specifics of the Civil War weren't my business; & by that there was instilled awareness of racist white people who'd use trickery to coerce me to be like them, with one way being discussing the war. There's other phrasing too, that people of the culture who are reminiscent of Antebellum South, and even those that understood the ongoing tensions and could go either way. Wasn't their problem... the racism & all that so who better to b-lame then those who understood something about it all. Why learn about anything unless it'll be a beneficial pay-out, of course how is it possible to know if something will provide some tangible gratification, validation, etc., unless it's pursued? So there's inherent risk with any endeavor and so if it can also be easily rebuffed as unnecessary, or counterproductive somehow, then the risk increases to the point where people will tend to shun anyone who posits to challenge oppression. Why be friends with somebody who'd be ridiculed at some point? There are people throughout history who'd lost the ability to "fit-in" but yet had contributed enormously to the benefit of humanity. Quite the opposite of the stereotypical villian, but the two could be effectively switched in context, is the point. A person may overcome some stigma (from trauma) and become better (more aware & compassionate) people as a result, and then as they return to the world, as it were, people might suggest they wasted their time in the whole affair, they could have been enriching themselves instead ... where the implication is that it was the person's own choice to be "held back" (by the trauma) and any "betterment" would've come anyway ... no different than what they have, after all, of course they know all about (whatever the topic is) ... but they also have nice house & all the trimmings & here, have some wine (type thing).
The "Termination of Contact Letter" I received from HUD because of Miki Manigault's commemorative website. Plain text of letter:
Subject: Housing Discrimination Complaint Inquiry — Termination of Contact
HUD Inquiry Number: 761239
Dear Scott H
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUUD) administratively enforces the Fair Housing Act (the Act), 42 U.S.C. §3601, et seq., as amended. The Act prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, because of race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), familial status, national origin, and disability. On February 5, 2024, our office received the above referenced inquiry you submitted online alleging housing discrimination.
It has come to my immediate attention that you may have engaged in cyberstalking activities related to a member of our staff. While the matter has been referred to Federal Protective Service for investigation, the safety of our employees is of the utmost importance to HUD and our office will take every reasonable precaution in these situations. Your inquiry has been closed and our office is terminating contact with you as of the date of this letter. This decision is final, and HUD will no longer respond to your correspondence or telephone calls about this matter.
You may consult with a private attorney to ascertain any other right of action you may have under federal, state or local laws. Notwithstanding this termination of contact, you have the right to pursue a civil action in an appropriate U.S. district court or state court no later than
two (2) years after the occurrence or the termination of an alleged discriminatory housing practice.
Sincerely,
James Whiteside
Region VIII Director

Plain text of letter from U.S. Veterans Affairs stating that I have a spot in a national cemetary:
June 17, 2025
Case ID: xxxxxx
Northglenn, CO 80260
Dear Scott ...:
We have reviewed your request and supporting documentation for a determination of eligibility for burial in a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) national cemetery in advance of need. We find that, as of the date of this letter, you are eligible for burial in a VA national
cemetery.
Eligibility criteria for burial in a VA national cemetery are stated in section 2402 of Title 38 United States Code (U.S.C.), Persons eligible for interment in national cemeteries. This finding of pre-need burial eligibility does not reserve or guarantee a gravesite in a particular VA
national cemetery. Burial benefits in a VA national cemetery include opening and closing of the grave, perpetual care, and a government-furnished headstone or marker, at no cost to your family.
VA will save your pre-need claim form, supporting documentation, and this decision letter in a recallable system to expedite your burial arrangements at your time of need. We encourage you to retain this information along with your other important papers. We also
encourage you to discuss your burial wishes and arrangements with your family members or authorized representatives. At your time of death, should your family or personal representative request burial in a VA national cemetery, VA will confirm this finding of pre-need eligibility based on the laws in effect at that time.
I hope this information is helpful in planning for your future burial needs. Thank you for your interest in our VA national cemeteries.
Sincerely Yours,
National Cemetery Scheduling Office Director
One of my more recent projects was converting scanned magazine articles to digital text and a Colorado history magazine (printed in 1973) included an article about Junius R. Lewis. There was an injustice committed against him that entailed gender issues as well as the racism that he had to contend with. It's a fascinating story! (The article includes references so converting it to EPUB3 with audio reader capability is an aspect that needs work.)
